PHILLIPS & PAYNE ANNOUNCE AMICABLE SPLIT...
(December 6, 2011) In an announcement made today, longtime teammates Terry Phillips and Jeremy Payne have amicably decided to part ways prior to the start of the 2012 racing season. Both drivers stated that it was just "time to move on and go separate ways" and there are no hard feelings on either side. Terry is busy at the shop putting together his new Team Zero by Bloomquist cars that he plans to debut during the upcoming 'Wild West Shootout' at the USA Raceway in Tucson, Arizona on January 14-22.

Jeremy, on the other hand, will start his 2012 campaign from January 1-7 in Australia racing Late Models in four separate R2C Competition Filters Pro Dirt Series events. When he returns stateside, Jeremy will focus primarily on his own Open Wheel Modified program while trying to get something put together to run some Dirt Late Models as well. A new website is also in the works for Jeremy and will launch soon at www.jeremy-payne.com.

Jeremy would like to thank Terry and everyone at Terry Phillips Racing for giving him the opportunity to race with a great team over the past several years. He would also like to thank Andy and Carol Kuntz from Andy's Frozen Custard for all of their support and dedication!
