WILD WEST SHOOTOUT NIGHTLY RESULTS...
(January 15, 2017)
Another soggy day in the desert forced 'Wild West Shootout' officials to scrap plans for the day-night doubleheader today at Arizona Speedway in Queen Creek, Arizona. The final two events of the six race miniseries have been scrapped due to inclement weather and will not be rescheduled. Terry Phillips leaves the Phoenix-area with a pair of Top Fives in the four races that were put into the record books.

(January 14, 2017) An unfortunate rain-out of the fifth round of the 'Wild West Shootout' tonight at Arizona Speedway will set up a rare day-night doubleheader in the desert on Sunday, January 15. The $5,000 to win, rain-postponed show will kick things off on Sunday morning, while the $12,000 to win miniseries finale will wrap things up at the Queen Creek, Arizona facility on Sunday evening.

(January 13, 2017) Night four of the 'Wild West Shootout' miniseries greeted Terry Phillips and his #75 TPR team tonight and yet another $5,000 winner's check was on the line at Arizona Speedway in Queen Creek, Arizona. Terry laid down the sixth quickest time in his group during qualifying before grabbing the fifth transfer spot through his stacked heat race. The Springfield, Missouri star then blitzed past thirteen competitors during the 30-lapper to garner an impressive fifth place performance behind only victor Bobby Pierce, Chris Simpson, Billy Moyer, and Garrett Alberson!

(January 11, 2017) After a couple of days off in the desert, round three of the 11th Annual 'Wild West Shootout' took center stage tonight at Arizona Speedway in Queen Creek, Arizona. Debuting a brand-new Black Diamond chassis, Terry Phillips posted the second quickest lap in his group during time trials prior to picking up an impressive heat race triumph. After drawing the pole position for the $5,000 to win main event, TP led the talented field for the first three circuits before eventually finishing the 30-lap affair in the fifth position behind only race winner Billy Moyer, Chris Simpson, Bobby Pierce, and Jimmy Mars!

(January 8, 2017) Another $5,000 top prize was up for grabs for the #75 team tonight in round two of the annual 'Wild West Shootout' at Arizona Speedway in Queen Creek, Arizona. Terry Phillips knocked down the sixth quickest time in his group during the qualifying session before finishing sixth in his heat race and second in his B-Main. After rolling off from the outside of the twelfth row in the 30-lap headliner, TP encountered an unfortunate flat tire shortly before the halfway mark and was eventually placed fourteenth in the final finishing order.

(January 7, 2017) The Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) team once again kicked off their racing season in the Copper State, as they were in the pit area at Arizona Speedway in Queen Creek, Arizona tonight for the $5,000 to win 'Wild West Shootout' opener! Terry Phillips clicked off the fifth fastest lap in his group during qualifying prior to finishing fourth in heat race action. Following a triumph in his B-Main, Terry slowed on the eighth circuit of the 30-lapper to draw a caution and retired in the twenty-third position.
