Both Terry Phillips and Jeremy Payne were ultra-busy over
the June 26-28 weekend, as the duo traveled to three different
venues in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri for a trio of MARS
/ NCRA co-sanctioned races. Terry finished nineteenth after
being spun while leading at the Brill (OK) Motor Speedway
on Friday, fourth at the 81 (KS) Speedway on Saturday, and
seventh after suffering a flat tire at the Monett (MO) Speedway
on Sunday. Jeremy, on the other hand, wound up fifth on Friday
at Brill, twenty-second on Saturday at 81, and nineteenth
on Sunday at Monett.
Following the three-race weekend, Jeremy finds himself second
in the latest version of the MARS DIRTcar Series point standings,
while Terry is a close third in the points battle.

Terry
Phillips was the lone TPR driver in action over the weekend,
as he invaded the Monett Speedway in Monett, Missouri on Sunday,
June 21. A regular weekly show was held at Monett on Sunday
and a $1,200 top prize was up for grabs. Terry was the class
of the field in the feature, as he took home his ninth checkered
flag of the 2009 racing season!
