Terry Phillips and Jeremy Payne both competed in a pair of O'Reilly NCRA Series programs on July 23-24 in the states of Nebraska and Kansas! On Friday night, the Eagle Raceway in Lincoln, Nebraska played host to a $3,000 to win showdown. Terry ran second in heat race action prior to winding up fourth in the A-Main behind only winner Kyle Berck, Bo Egge, and Al Purkey. Jeremy finished third in his heat race before notching a ninth place effort in the 40-lap main event.

Next up for the TPR team was a trip to the Thunder Hill Speedway in Mayetta, Kansas on Saturday evening for a $2,500 to win NCRA event. Terry won his competitive heat race and later finished sixth in the rain-shortened feature event. Jeremy, on the other hand, wound up sixteenth in the A-Main after running fourth in heat race action. The Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) team invaded the Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois and the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri on July 16-17 for a pair of $10,000 to win showdowns. On Friday night at Granite City, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned the annual running of the 'Budweiser 50.' Terry Phillips finished third in his B-Main to gain access into the 50-lap feature event, where he later wound up sixteenth in the final rundown. Jeremy Payne, on the other hand, unfortunately could not transfer into the $10,000 to win A-Main.

At Wheatland on Saturday evening, the MLRA Series co-sanctioned the 'CMH Diamond Nationals' with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and another $10,000 top prize awaited the winner. Terry won his B-Main, but later finished twenty-sixth in the 50-lap main event. Jeremy also advanced into the A-Main through a consolation event and wound up being paid for twenty-first at the pay window. Both programs were taped by the SPEED Channel cameras for broadcast later in the year. Complete results can be found online at www.lucasdirt.com.

Terry Phillips and Jeremy Payne both ventured to the Deep South over the July 9-10 weekend for the 2nd Annual 'Clash at the Mag' at the Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series presided over the SPEED Channel taped program, which boasted a hefty $20,000 payday. Terry ran third in heat race action on Friday night, which landed him the sixteenth starting spot in the 100-lapper on Saturday evening. TP had a good run in the 'Clash at the Mag,' as he improved seven spots to finish in the ninth position.

Jeremy's weekend did not go as well, as he unfortunately missed out on the $20,000 to win main event on Saturday at Magnolia. He wound up sixth in his loaded heat race on Friday and climbed to fourth in his B-Main on Saturday, but only two drivers transferred out of each consolation race.
